I have been teaching at New Albany High School since the 2002-2003 school year. I served as department chair from 2006-2010, and have also been a member of the Senior Team. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in English, and then with a M.Ed from The Ohio State University.

I currently teach Honors English 12, Honors Western Humanities, Senior Seminar and Creative Writing. I became a teacher because of the undeniable impact my own teachers had on me when I was young. I hope to inspire the same kind of curiosity and dedication in my students that my teachers inspired in me. I truly believe our young people will improve the world if we give them the strategies to use all of their various strengths.
