Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is Erin Jones and this is my 18th year teaching math. I taught high school algebra 1, geometry, algebra 2 and calculus during my first 11 years of teaching and came to New Albany Middle School in 2016. I absolutely love teaching middle school students and helping build the foundations that they will need to be successful in future math courses and beyond. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois with a major in mathematics and a minor in Spanish. I earned a M. Ed. Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Talent Development Education (Gifted Education) in 2020.
I was born in the suburbs of Chicago and relocated to the Columbus area with my husband in 2006. We have two boys and a 4-year old Victorian bulldog that make for non-stop energy and entertainment at home. Colin is an 8th grader and Cameron is in third grade. As a family, we enjoy golf, football, swimming and traveling.
