Welcome to our New Albany Middle School Musical Arts programs! We are so proud of the music community here at NAMS and the opportunities we are able to offer. Students may choose to explore music through band, choir, or orchestra, all strong programs with exceptional teachers who desire the very best for each member of their ensemble. The benefits of a musical education are endless: critical and analytical thinking skills, confidence and behavior, and being a part of a unique and creative team. Teachers see students benefit from these skills daily in their classrooms and how they move beyond the music and into all areas of academic learning. Our teachers want our students to succeed in music and life as a whole. Learning music at this age gives students the tools to grow even more in the future. What starts as a class can become a lifelong love, and we are excited to be a part of that journey.
