Hello! My name is Tara Baker, and I teach English 8 and Academic Enrichment for reading support. I studied Integrated Language Arts Education at The Ohio State University, so I love Buckeye sports and all things OSU! In 2021, I earned a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology from Miami University. I love exploring new ways that technology can be used to differentiate instruction for each student’s unique learning needs.

This is my fifth year teaching English, and it’s my second year in the New Albany-Plain Local School District. Outside of the classroom, I also advise the middle school student council. Partnering with students to serve our school and community has been a really fun and rewarding way to get involved at NAMS. Go Eagles!
