Hello! My name is Jena Biglin and I will be teaching 4th grade math, science, and social studies. I grew up in Shelby, Ohio and went to Kent State University for my Bachelor’s degree. Once I graduated, I moved to Columbus. I was a substitute teacher for a couple of years. After subbing, I worked at Nationwide Children’s Hospital on their Behavioral Health Unit. I was a teacher and academic liaison, so my focus was on helping students manage school while in the hospital. After three years in that role, I became a 4th grade teacher at Licking Heights Local Schools. I spent two years in 4th grade. Now I am continuing my career in 4th grade at New Albany. I am thrilled to join this community!
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, being active, and spending time with family. I look forward to working with you and your child!
