My name is Wahida Sultana. I’ve been in New Albany Plain Local School since 2015 working as an Educational Assistant. Prior to this school I taught for a few years in preschool under Board of DD in Madison County and then taught one year as an Itinerant teacher in London City Schools and an additional three years as Kindergarten teacher in Riverside Children’s Center. I have been working in schools since 2001.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University in Bangladesh, and my Master’s of Art from The City College of New York, along with my Post Baccalaureate degree on Special Education from Urbana University in Ohio. I earned my required credentials on ESOL from Miami University and added Endorsement to my Intervention Specialist license and currently working as an EL teacher in New Albany Local Plain Schools.|
I am married and have two daughters who graduated from OSU and are currently working in the Clinical Trial field. In my free time, I enjoy arts and crafts, and I also like sewing and reading.
