Hello! My name is Tara Baker, and I teach English 8! I studied Integrated Language Arts Education at The Ohio State University, so I love Buckeye sports and all things OSU! In 2021, I earned a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology from Miami University. I love exploring new ways that technology can be used to differentiate instruction for each student’s unique learning needs.

This is my sixth year teaching English and my third year in the New Albany-Plain Local School District. Outside of the classroom, I also advise middle school student council. Partnering with students to serve our school and community has been a really fun and rewarding way to get involved at NAMS. Go Eagles!
