Hello families! I am beyond excited to get this year started. Let me tell you a little about myself.

I am from West Chester, Ohio which is about 25 minutes north of Cincinnati. I graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. In addition, I earned my K-12 Reading Endorsement and Early Childhood Generalist Endorsement. I taught first grade for three years in Florida. I learned a lot in my first three years of education and am looking forward to going even further at New Albany Primary School. I truly enjoy helping students grow in all aspects of life, creating relationships with coworkers and parents, and challenging myself every day to be better for my students.

Aside from education, I find joy in playing golf, running, and crafting. I grew up in a family of golfers, played golf through college, met my husband through college golf, and then had the opportunity to start elementary and middle school golf teams in my last position. With that, I was able to make connections with more students and families and make a difference outside of the classroom.  I also enjoy traveling and being around family and friends. I will miss the warm winters in Florida, but am happy to be close to home!

I am overjoyed to join the New Albany Primary School team. I can’t wait to meet you and your students! Looking forward to a fun and successful year.
