The registration deadline for HS Credit Recovery/Remediation Classes is extended until May 30 at 3:00 p.m.
Class Registration Selection – “Rising Grade”
Class details include the appropriate grade level for the class. Parents should register their child based on the grade their student will enter in the fall for the 2013-2014 school year.
Confirmation of Registration
Due to the variable rate of enrollment and the need to balance or create new classes, you will receive a confirmation email for your Summer Academy course once the class has reached the required minimum number of students.
Payment is not required until you receive a course confirmation email. This email will include instructions on how to submit payment for class fees.
Fee Waiver Availability
Fees for Summer Academy courses can be waived for all New Albany students who qualify for free and reduced-price lunches for the 2013-2014 school year. Should you have questions about any other fee waiver options or scholarships, please contact the Administrative Office at 614-855-2040.
In an effort to provide a more efficient process, Summer IMPACT classes are now a part of our Summer Academy.
Location of Classes
Classes will be held at various buildings on the NAPLS Campus. Classroom assignments will be confirmed in the confirmation email and will be posted on the district Summer Academy website as well as in the main office of all school buildings. Please refer to course descriptions for specific details and possible variations on exact class time.
First priority will be given to NAPLS students. If space permits, out of district students may attend classes that are not restricted to NAPLS students. There will be a fee of $50 for out of district students in addition to the class fee for HS Credit Classes.
Summer Academy sessions are of short duration, therefore daily class attendance is required. Attendance is mandatory in high school credit courses.
