About NAMS Athletics

New Albany MS is a member of the 46 school Ohio Capital Conference (OCC). New Albany teams compete against league opponents from school districts such as Westerville, Gahanna, Worthington, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington and Big Walnut amongst others. Enthusiastic highly qualified professionals coach New Albany middle school student-athletes. Most coaches are teachers in the New Albany-Plain Local school district and many teach at the middle school. All Middle school athletic programs are designed to promote participation while developing the fundamentals and teamwork necessary for success in each sport. Some sports however, require a try-out. Our middle school teams will compete and strive to develop a winning attitude but winning games will never be the number one priority of the middle school athletic program.
