Any 7th or 8th grade boy not currently in a fall sport that is interested in playing basketball this year is invited to an open gym next Monday after school from 2:45 – 4:00.
Any 7th or 8th grade student interested in trying out for the Power of the Pen writing team, please attend the informational meeting on Monday, October 10th, in room 255 during study center. If you are unable to attend, please see Mrs. Oldenquist or Mrs. May for information.
Student Council applications are due no later than Friday by 2:40 in the folder outside Mrs. Williamson’s room.
The Library and Kinko’s are looking for a few students to help during Study Center and/or Advisory. Any student interested in being a “Library Leader” or “Digital Eagle Assistant” for Kinko’s should stop in and pick up an application. The application needs to be signed by your parent/guardian and your Study Center/Advisory teacher for consideration. The date for applications has been extended. Please turn your application in by Friday, October 7th. Students selected for these duties will be notified by your Study Center/Advisory teachers.
Don’t Forget: Show your school PRIDE, wear your MAROON on Friday for the Fall Pep Assembly. GO EAGLES!
If you are interested in participating or trying out for a winter sport, please sign up on the lists outside of Coach Grieger’s office in the MS Gym. Be sure to pick up an athletic packet required to participate in athletics. Also, there will be a mandatory parent meeting for winter sports participants on Wed., October 19th in the MS Cafeteria at 7:00pm.

Adventure Club will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 12th, in science room 261 from 2:45-4:00. Bring a snack and dress to be in the woods for the afternoon to learn to build a debris hut! Again, the date is Wednesday, Oct. 12th!
