Intervention Core Team (ICT)
The Intervention Core Team provides direction for school wide programs that promote academic achievement for all students. ICT responds to academic trends in the NAHS learning community and works to create an environment that fosters success. Some programs that ICT works on include:
- Writing Lab
- Math Lab
- Excel study center
- Structured study center
- Academic alert forms
Intervention Assistance Team (IAT)
The goal of Intervention Assistance Team (IAT) is to provide individual students with school based intervention in the areas of academic performance, student, behavior, student health, and student school attendance.
Intervention will focus on identification and informal assessment of students experiencing attendance, academic, behavioral, and/or health problems. Individual action plans will emphasize prevention, the facilitation of supportive relationships, and regular follow up support strategies. Teachers, parents or other school staff can refer students.
