Online Lunch Payment System Transition

November 15, 2012

On November 27th, the district’s online lunch payment system, mynutrikids.com will transition to mySchoolBucks, a product of Heartland Payment Systems.  The transition will allow the district to provide greater capabilities for users, including:

- Scheduled recurring payments
- Automatic deposits when your child’s account balance runs low
- Extended purchase history for the past 90 days
- Low balance email notifications
- E-wallet to save credit card information for future use
- Future potential enhancements include school fee payments and more
- Mobile-friendly website

The transition will begin at 2:30 PM on November 27th and will take approximately 24 hours.  During this time, you will be unable to add money to your child’s account. Please check your child’s balance prior to this time and add additional funds, if necessary.  During the blackout period, students with low balances will be permitted to “charge” a lunch, with payment expected after the transition.

When the transition is complete, you will be automatically redirected from mynutrikids.com to myschoolbucks.com. Additionally, all links on the district website and my.napls.us will be changed to reflect the new system.  If you currently have a NutriKids account, your existing account information, including login username/password and associated children, will be carried over to the new site.  If you do not currently have a NutriKids account, you may set up a new mySchoolBucks account on or after November 29.  Step-by-step directions for new accounts can be accessed by clicking here.

One thing that will not transfer, however, is your low balance email reminder settings.  If you would like to continue receiving notifications when your child’s balance is low, you will need to set this up in the E-mail Preferences section your new mySchoolBucks account.
