February 13, 2012

This past weekend, New Albany Middle School hosted its first Science Olympiad Invitational, with 15 Ohio middle schools in attendance.  A total of 24 teams, or approximately 400 students, participated in 23 different science events.  The school’s first invitational event was dedicated to the NA team’s first coach, Srinivas Lingamneni, who was a dedicated and passionate coach and parent.  His children, Rohit and Pooja, attend NAHS and NAMS respectively. He lost his short battle to cancer in September.

Last week, Meteorologist Ben Gelber from NewsChannel 4 reported on the Invitational and Coach Lingamneni
