New Albany-Plain Local School District Treasurer, Brian Ramsay has accepted a similar position at Westfall Local School District (Pickaway County) effective August 6, 2012. Pending the Board of Education’s approval, Ramsay’s last day at New Albany-Plain Local will be August 3, 2012.
“I wish Brian well in this new endeavor and thank him for his 17 years of service to the New Albany-Plain Local School District community,” said Board President Laura Kohler. “I appreciate Brian’s professionalism and dedication as the District has grown and changed during this time.”
“Brian has served this district with sincere care and commitment. I appreciate his efforts over the years that have ensured eight clean audits and prepared the district to move forward,” said Superintendent Domine.
The Board of Education has begun the process to search for an interim treasurer and will establish a search process for the permanent replacement immediately. “We will move quickly to identify candidates to carry on this work as we continue our efforts to reinvent education and plan for the future,” said Laura Kohler, Board President.
