The New Albany-Plain Local Schools Board of Education invites the community to engage in conversation about bond and levy issues related to the district’s financial and facilities needs during its regular meeting, 6:30 p.m., Monday, June 25.
Members of the board have been gathering community input since May through regular and special board meetings.
The board is considering the timing and amount of future bond and levy options that were presented at the board’s
work session held June 11.
The board of education has asked Treasurer Brian Ramsay to prepare resolutions for state consent on a bond issue for their consideration. This is the first required step that must be completed before the board of education can vote to place a bond issue on the November ballot.
The board meeting will be held at Mershad Hall, in the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts on the New Albany Schools campus. Persons wishing to address the board should sign-in at the entrance to Mershad Hall and they will be called on to share their comments.
