The New Albany Middle School Eagle Wings were honored by the New Albany Chamber of Commerce in a December 13th event. The group received the Delta Award for Outstanding Community Program for its Anti-Bullying Walk that took place last April. Done in conjunction with the High School Peace Week, the walk to protest bullying included a pledge asking participants to help prevent bullying. NAHS Freshmen Jordan Burckard, Caitlyn Coss, and Hannah Rezabek were recognized for their hard work organizing the event during their eighth grade year.
