Megan Dressel became the first NAHS Girls Golf Team member to hit a hole-in-one. Although statistics vary, the odds of scoring a hole-in-one for an amateur is about 1 in 12,750, according to Girls Golf Coach, Darryl Sycher.
This rare accomplishment occurred on hole #2 during the OCC Varsity girl’s golf tournament at Westchester Golf Course on August 27. Megan used a 9 iron on the 124 yard par 3 hole.
The Varsity Girls Golf team’s current record is 32 wins and 32 losses with six more tournaments scheduled this month.
Congratulations Megan and best of luck to the NAHS Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity Golf Teams for the remainder of the season!
