The meeting will provide an overview of the anticipated 2013-14 season, as well as the next steps in transitioning New Albany Hockey to an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) recognized varsity sport.

When: May 16, 2013, 7:00pm

Where: New Albany High School Mini Theater – The theater is located off Fodor Road. Park in the High School lot to the far right of the football field and take the path to the right leading to Academic building “I”.

Who Should Attend: Players and parents of players who are interested in playing for New Albany Hockey in the 2013-14 season as well as parents of all future New Albany High School

Who: Anyone entering grades 7-12 and interested in playing on an athletic team.

• Q – Z: 7:30 pm

Location: High School Athletic Building (register in lobby of the gymnasium)

Fee: $15 (make checks payable to New Albany Athletics; money collected goes to the athletic department)

Additional Notes:
Athletes who fail the screening process will be referred back to their primary care physician for additional evaluation and clearance. Therefore any athlete with a chronic health problem (congenital heart disease, diabetes) or an acute injury needing casting or surgery will not be cleared. Additionally the doctors volunteering their time to help with our screenings are not able to complete medical forms for non-school related camps. Your child is best served by seeing their primary care physician for a more comprehensive physical examination.

A parent/guardian must sign the physical form in order for the student-athlete to receive a physical.

Welcome to the New Albany High School (NAHS) Aquatic Center’s Learn to Swim Registration.

Learn to swim at the Aquatic Center is designed to focus on the fundamentals of swimming, water safety and fun. Classes meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for two (2) weeks. Class size is limited to 5-6 students per class. Child must be at least 3 years old by the first day of class to register for lessons. Classes must have a minimum of 3 students registered to hold the class.

Parents are required to sit in the bleachers during their child’s lesson. The NAHS Aquatic Center does not offer makeup classes, refunds or rain checks for a child missing a class.

There are 2 parts to the Learn to Swim Registration:

1) Complete the online registration form: Click here to complete the form.
2) Payment for class – due 5 business days after completing this form.

Swim lesson spots will go to the first to complete both parts of the registration.

Summer Session ($72.00-per child)

Registration Deadline:

• Monday, June 3rd at 5:00 pm.
• No Registration forms or payments will be accepted after this date and time.

Email Confirmation will be sent out Monday, June 10th by 5:00 pm.

Learn-to-Swim Session:

• Summer Session: June 17-27

• 5:00 PM- 7:15 PM
• We will let you know what time your child is scheduled for lessons-there is no section to select a time

Learn-to- Swim, each participating must fill out a registration form, parent waiver form and pay for the class. Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment.

• Silent Auction and prizes until 11:00pm
• 20 Gaming Tables will be open from 7:00pm-9:00pm
• Tickets are $40/person or $70/couple
• Ticket includes 1 complimentary drink plus appetizers and casino money

Congratulations to NAHS Seniors Darron Lee, who will be playing for The Ohio State University, and Alan Watson, who will be playing for Columbia University! You guys had a stellar final season and good luck playing college football.
