Athletic Packets are now available in the HS Athletic Office. If your athlete is getting their physical at the school on Thursday, May 30 from 6:15-8pm, make sure you complete the parent/guardian section of the physical form including signature and have the student bring it with them that evening. We will accept completed packets this day. Your Pay to Participate fee will be due before the first contest. Please return all the forms in the athletic envelope.

New Albany Hockey will compete as a Junior Varsity (JV) club team in the Capital Hockey Conference (CHC) in the 2013-14 season. This is an open invitation to ALL New Albany hockey families.
The meeting will provide an overview of the anticipated 2013-14 season, as well as the next steps in transitioning New Albany Hockey to an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) recognized varsity sport.
When: May 16, 2013, 7:00pm
Where: New Albany High School Mini Theater – The theater is located off Fodor Road. Park in the High School lot to the far right of the football field and take the path to the right leading to Academic building “I”.
Who Should Attend: Players and parents of players who are interested in playing for New Albany Hockey in the 2013-14 season as well as parents of all future New Albany High School

Who: Anyone entering grades 7-12 and interested in playing on an athletic team.
Split Starting Times by Last Name
- A – H: 6:15 pm
- I – P: 7:00 pm
- Q – Z: 7:30 pm
Location: High School Athletic Building (register in lobby of the gymnasium)
Fee: $15 (make checks payable to New Albany Athletics; money collected goes to the athletic department)
Additional Notes:
Athletes who fail the screening process will be referred back to their primary care physician for additional evaluation and clearance. Therefore any athlete with a chronic health problem (congenital heart disease, diabetes) or an acute injury needing casting or surgery will not be cleared. Additionally the doctors volunteering their time to help with our screenings are not able to complete medical forms for non-school related camps. Your child is best served by seeing their primary care physician for a more comprehensive physical examination.
A parent/guardian must sign the physical form in order for the student-athlete to receive a physical.
