School Fees
Please check the following links for information regarding school fees for your student. School Fees help cover the cost of consumable materials such as paper, projects, art supplies and educational subscriptions. Fees may vary from grade to grade depending on educational program needs. If financial assistance is needed, please submit a “Free and Reduced Lunch” application and make sure to fill out Section 5 of the form.

- New Albany Middle School Student Fees:
- New Albany High School – High School fees are invoiced in November because any schedule changes made at the beginning of the school year may impact the amount your student owes. Parents should expect to receive their fee statement in the mail around the middle of November.
Student Drop off & Pick Up
Please follow the required drop off and pick up procedures including location and appropriate time set forth by your child’s school building. You may contact your child’s school office if you have questions.
Transportation
Bus routes are posted online prior to the start of each school year from mid-August to the end of September. To help protect families’ privacy, bus routes are not posted throughout the school year. Changes in a designated bus may be approved to accommodate childcare arrangements. Completed Bus Change Forms may be faxed to 614-855-4030 or may be returned via email to:

School Lunch
Lunch Menus and information regarding our district’s online payment system “NutriKids” can be located by selecting the Food Services link at the top of the NAPLS website. Applications for Free and Reduced Price Lunch are required each September or whenever a family’s income status changes.
Lunch Prices
- K-1 & 2-5 Elementary – $2.35
- Middle School- $2.60 ($3.25 – Deluxe lunch with extra drink)
- High School – $2.60 ($3.25 – Deluxe lunch with extra drink)
- Milk – $ .50
Medication Policy
All prescribed and over the counter medications are to be delivered to the school clinic by an adult. The school nurse/clinic assistant is available to discuss the procedure for medications and treatments. The school nurse/clinic assistant will keep these orders on file in the clinic. No medications or medical treatments are to take place in school without the knowledge of the nurse/clinic assistant. Please visit the Student Health Services link for more detailed information.
Before & After School Care
YWCA Kids Place
The YWCA Kids Place program is available to provide before and/or after-school child care. Parents can register online at www.ywcacolumbus.org or contact Ann Sidesinger at 224-9121 ext. 1211 for more information.
New Albany Public Library Homework Help Centers
The New Albany branch of the Columbus Public Library offers a homework help center for K-12 students Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Students seeking help with daily homework may sign in with their library card and receive individual assistance from staff and volunteers.
Students will find everything that they need to complete their homework– friendly volunteers, computers, on site school supplies, and a welcoming atmosphere for studying and learning. Please visit the New Albany Library Homework Help Center site for additional information.
